Active Mountain Raceway, will be constructed to accommodate not only "state of the art" car and motorcycle racing; but will allow for major outdoor concerts and world class sport competitions. These activities will be presented to audiences topping the 30,000 mark on site and reaching millions of viewers through television media.

All of the facilities and structures constructed on this site will ultimately be designed with an "all purpose" entertainment complex in mind. The Raceway Complex will rival all North American professional venue standards.

Artist Concept: Active Mountain Raceway

In a very short time frame, upon completion this venue along with the other components of Active Mountain Park, will generate revenues in excess of $100 million per year for the businesses of Merritt and surrounding areas. The employment opportunities and job creation factor at Active Mountain Park is expected to provide for 2,500 full time employees and 4,000 part time employees through direct and indirect commitments, once the park is in full operation.

This venture will create opportunities for high-tech projects as well as hospitality and professional services to be developed right here in Merritt. Auto racing schools, agencies, high performance engine testing and development, catering, welding, construction, legal and accounting services, mechanical repair shops, just to name a few, of the economic spin-offs that can be achieved with the furtherance of this great project.

The future belongs to Merritt... Better believe it!
